The Open Gardens event started in 2003 to raise funds towards building the new village
hall in Llanfoist and also in support of the National Garden Scheme national charities.
It has become so popular an event with villagers and visitors alike that, although
we opened our magnificent hall in 2006 the event has continued. Unfortunately the
event will not take place in 2017.
Llanfoist is a very diverse village, steeped in history, but incorporating much that
is modern and forever changing. Set between the Sugarloaf and Blorenge mountains
to the southwest of Abergavenny we are in a beautiful location.
Many thanks to all of you who came to the 13th annual open gardens day in Llanfoist
last year in 2016.
